  • Acting on behalf of reinsurers in respect of several disputes arising out of COVID-19 losses across various classes of business including catastrophe excess of loss, contingency, and travel excess of loss;
  • Advising reinsurers in respect of their exposure under a retrocession of property damage/machinery breakdown reinsurance in respect of a USD $300+ million loss in the Middle East;
  • Advising reinsurers regarding their exposure under a facultative reinsurance following a substantial fire loss valued at EUR 300 million in a recycling plant in Germany;
  • Acting for reinsurers in a claim under a facultative reinsurance following multiple transformers failure in Malaysia in a claim presented for over MYR 100,000,000;
  • Acting for liability insurers in connection with a multi-million-dollar claim brought in California arising from alleged damaged and/or defective photovoltaic modules in India;
  • Advising London insurers in connection with a multi-jurisdictional dispute involving proceedings in Ontario, New York, and London where the insured sought to claim US $2.9 billion under legacy public liability policies insured with 22 insurers.
