Get expert advice with tax disputes and litigation
Our specialist team of tax litigators can provide comprehensive advice and support in dealing with tax disputes. Our industry knowledge means that we can work quickly to ensure your position is protected at the earliest opportunity, complying with the strict deadlines and processes imposed by HM Revenue and Customs working with other professionals to best protect your position where necessary.
We can guide you through the process of challenging and seeking reviews of HM Revenue and Customs’ decisions as well as advising on claims for remission or repayment of amounts wrongly charged.
Where a matter cannot be resolved directly with HM Revenue and Customs, we can advise and act on your behalf in appealing decisions to the First Tier Tribunal (Tax Chamber) and where necessary apply for judicial review.
As part of this process, we can prepare and file applications for hardship or alternative security to avoid the need to pay the debts claimed pending resolution of the dispute.
