Shaheen qualified as a Solicitor in 2007 and became an Associate in 2015. He is originally from the North East, joining Weightmans in May 2007. His work predominantly covers high value personal injury claims from most areas of the public sector and some from the private sector as well.

Shaheen has a particular expertise in relation to:

  • Novel highways claims including subsidence and property damage claims
  • All aspects of housing disrepair claims
  • Assault claims involving service users with special needs in the education and care settings
  • Bullying at school
  • Stress at work
  • Potential fraud
  • Failure to educate

Shaheen also regularly provides training to clients in respect of pre and post issue processes as well as liability and quantum. He has been involved in delivering seminars and training to clients in Wales and the Midlands over the years.
