Richard is a Consultant specialising in criminal, regulatory and disciplinary work, acting on behalf of medical defence organisations, medical and dental practitioners, solicitors and other professionals.

Richard has considerable experience of cases before the Crown Court and before the panels and committees of the General Medical Council and General Dental Council.

Richard is highly regarded for his defence work for healthcare and other professionals. He provides expert advice and representation before the GMC and GDC and in other regulatory and disciplinary proceedings.

He has successfully defended criminal cases in the Crown Court and has assisted doctors and dentists under investigation by NHS Protect.
