Megan is an Associate in the Specialty team at Weightmans, based in the London office.
Megan is experienced in handling Building Guarantee claims advising on policy response and pursuing subrogated recoveries against third parties. She also frequently writes on developments within Building Safety.
Megan advises insurers on the defence of claims for breaches of contract and negligent design and construction of both commercial and residential properties. Megan’s work also relates to professional indemnity and property damage claims as well construction disputes more broadly.
In addition to defending claims, Megan advises insurers on the application and effect of policy wording to consider coverage issues.
