Formerly of RadcliffesLeBrasseur, Marianne is a Partner in our Healthcare Providers team, advising clients on clinical negligence, regulatory and disciplinary matters, inquests, mental health law, criminal investigations and prosecutions, and data protection issues.
Marianne is a specialist in CQC issues, NHS Trust disciplinary hearings and HSE prosecutions.
She is extremely experienced in defending healthcare professionals in complex, high value negligence claims and representing her clients in both the High Court and Crown Court.
Marianne has a particular expertise in Mental Health Act matters and the treatment and detention of mentally ill individuals. She frequently advises on consent and confidentiality matters for mental health patients, vulnerable adults and children.
Marianne provides seminars and training to clients and professional organisations on issues such as consent, capacity, restraint and quantum in clinical negligence claims.
