Principal Associate Lorraine specialises in acting for private clients in relation to their estate planning, including the preparation of wills, trusts and lasting powers of attorney. Lorraine has extensive experience in complex probate applications and dealing with the administration of estates. She has a particular interest in cross-border matters and is used to working with lawyers in different jurisdictions to meet her client’s objectives and ensure their worldwide affairs are in order. Lorraine has a wealth of experience working with a range of clients including business owners, elderly clients and those with complex family or financial affairs.

As the lead of our trust administration team, Lorraine is a specialist advisor for clients in relation to the creation and administration of trusts to ensure that trustees have fulfilled their legal and tax obligations, and she deals with various aspects of legal and tax compliance.

As well as dealing with private clients, Lorraine also leads our team of specialists dealing with recovery from estates work on behalf of local authorities.  She also regularly presents estate planning seminars for clients and intermediaries.

Lorraine prides herself on providing excellent client care, ensuring that her clients are always given an efficient and professional service, providing regular updates and communicating in language clients can understand. 

Lorraine is a full STEP member, full accredited member of The Association of Lifetime Lawyers and a member of the Law Society Private Client Section. Lorraine completed her STEP qualification in 2021 and was awarded two STEP Excellence Awards for the highest scoring graduate across the STEP Diploma and in the Administration of Trusts examination.
