Lauren is based in our International Private Wealth Team and specialises in tax & accounting for trusts & estates and assisting beneficiaries & individuals in reporting to HMRC for self-assessment and the filing of annual tax returns.

Lauren can also assist trustees with reporting to HMRC for Inheritance Tax under the relevant property regime.

As the taxation and compliance for trustees and personal representatives is at an all-time high, Lauren is in a position to advise of the legal responsibilities and any other compliance that may arise. This includes but is not limited to:

  • Self-Assessment and filing annual tax returns;
  • Trust and Estate accounts;
  • Registration on the Trust Registration Service;
  • Registration of complex estates;
  • Applications for Legal Entity Identifiers;
  • Compliance with The IRS including reporting under FATCA, CRS & AEOI; and
  • Reporting to HMRC under the relevant property regime including ten-yearly charges, as well as entry and exit charges.
