Donna is a Partner in our Private Wealth team, and is based in our Glasgow office.

Donna is a specialist in succession planning, asset protection and all aspects of Private Client work, including estate planning, complex private wealth matters, inheritance tax advice, creation and management of trusts, contentious estates, estate administration, later life advice, powers of attorney, guardianship and incapacity issues. She is a member of the Society of Trusts and Estates Practitioners, being one of the first two solicitors in Scotland to attain membership following the introduction of entrance qualifications.

Her wealth of experience has led to her being asked to present to various groups, organisations and fellow professionals such as financial advisers, visiting overseas solicitors, Faculty of Procurators, U3A and more. She has also been invited to contribute on several occasions to BBC consumer programmes discussing matters such as long term care, inheritance tax, trusts and powers of attorney.

She has tutored in Property, Trusts and Succession at Glasgow University and written for various publications. Although not providing financial advice in her current role, she also attained the Investment Advice Certificate, giving her a thorough understanding of financial matters.
