Deepak is a very experienced banking lawyer and has advised banks, borrowers, financial institutions and government departments on a wide spectrum of banking transactions including leveraged and structured finance, invoice discounting and securitisation structures.

Deepak also has a wealth of experience advising lenders and borrowers on the off balance sheet treatment of receivables including the provision of true sale opinions. In addition to advising on lending structures, Deepak also advises lenders and borrowers on the compilation of bank standard form documentation, consumer credit issues, enforcement of security and restructuring tactics. 

Deepak has acted for RBS, Wilmington Trust, HSBC, Natwest, Barclays, Bank of America and JP Morgan as well as a host of businesses local to the North West region.

Deepak’s articles have been published in the Journal of International Banking and Finance.
