Ami Patyal

Ami is a Principal Associate specialising in healthcare, regulatory and public law matters and advises both public and private health providers.  

Ami has a particular interest in mental health law having gained extensive experience when seconded to provide in-house support at a high secure hospital. Ami’s work ranges from the drafting of policies through to supporting clients prepare and attend first-tier mental health tribunals, including complex s.37/41cases.

Ami supports clients understand how mental health legislation impacts the completion of statutory forms and how to avoid the legal and ethical pitfalls arising from incorrect or incomplete completion.

As a qualified Product Owner, working alongside Weightmans dedicated Innovation Team, Ami leads on creating and developing pragmatic digital solutions leading to improved client process and efficiency savings.
