Weightmans’ trainees and apprentices hosted the first Pathways to Partnership event in Liverpool.
The event, which was attended by Weightmans’ people and students from LJMU and UoL, were treated to a panel Q&A involving some of the firm’s partners, who discussed their individual career journeys to partnership, and the skills needed for success.
The organisation of the event formed part of the Liverpool trainee’s personal development programme.
Matthew Chorley, apprentice solicitor, said:
“This has been a great learning curve for those of us who worked to pull this event together. We want to thank the partners who agreed to give their time to share their career stories, and to those who attended. We hope they were inspired.”
Helen Taylor, HR Director, said:
“This was a fantastic event, more so as it was organised by some of our trainees and apprentices, who all demonstrated how talented they are in pulling it together and inspiring the next generation of legal stars. I am excited about their future with the firm.”
