The Times has recognised Weightmans as one of the best law firms in the country.
The Times conducted surveys among thousands of lawyers and used their responses to identify the most highly recommended 250 law firms in England and Wales, and the top 20 in Scotland.
Weightmans – which has nine offices across the country - stood out – and was applauded for its excellence in administrative and public law, family, personal injury and clinical negligence specifically.
It marks the firm’s appearance in the list for the seventh consecutive year.
Managing Partner, John Schorah, said:
“It is a remarkable achievement to be recognised by The Times in this prestigious list for the seventh year in a row – and even better for the fact that it is voted for by our peers within the sector. This would not be possible without the unwavering passion and expertise demonstrated by our people every day, and their tireless work in providing a first-class client experience. Congratulations to all, particularly the practice areas and individuals highlighted in the list.”
The announcement comes on the back of a raft of successes for the top 40 firm this year.
Its 23/24 results saw its strongest financial results in its history with net profit up 41% on the previous year; while last month it announced that a record number of its lawyers had been ranked in this year’s leading legal directories, with 563 experts listed across the Legal 500 and Chambers & Partners UK.
