Weightmans has announced its annual promotions to kick start the new financial year.
Four have been promoted to partner, bringing the firm’s total number of partners to 266, including equity. They are:
- David McGuire – Disputed Wills, Trusts & Estates
- Chris Wilkinson – Police
- Stephanie Fisher – BD & Marketing
- Rebecca Cairney – Employment
Weightmans also revealed that it has promoted five to legal director. They are:
- Katy Lund - Healthcare, Newcastle
- Sarah Temperley - Local Government, Manchester
- Luiza Balan - Specialty, Leicester
- Lisa Williams - Aviation, London
- Shaun Lavery – Large Loss, London
Welcoming this year’s cohort, Sarah Walton, the firm’s new managing partner, said:

All promotions are effective from 1 April, the beginning of the new financial year.
