Strands of focus, and intersectionality

In recognition of longstanding societal barriers and historical under-representation in the legal sector, we concentrate our DE&I effort on four strands of focus:

  • Gender
  • LGBTQ+
  • Race, ethnicity and cultural heritage
  • Disability and mental wellbeing

We acknowledge that multiple layers of individual identities and experiences compound differently across groups and people, and we approach DE&I through the lens of intersectionality mindful also of how age and socioeconomic cut across all our strands of focus.
