Working closely with our national Transport Regulatory team, Weightmans are advising this client’s transport operation in relation to a highly contentious potential whistleblowing / disciplinary issue involving senior personnel within their operation.

Our ability to provide specialist employment law advice in the transport sector means that we are able to properly understand the client’s business and importantly in the context of this matter the need to balance their obligations to the DVSA and the requirement to ensure appropriate dealing with a potential whistle-blower, with the commercial requirement to ensure various other processes are properly considered and risk assessed as required.

Our involvement is particularly important as we help navigate the client through various inter-linked processes whilst seeking to ensure that in the event that claims are brought against the client, they can be robustly defended.
